An article in Bloomberg looks at a recent Royal Bank of Canada study on Canadians between 35-44.
“People in that age bracket had liabilities equal to 49 percent of their net worth in 2012, up from 31 percent for the same group in 1999….the figures compare with 9 percent and 12 percent for people aged 55 to 64.”
